FITCHBURG, Wis. — Emergency crews responded to a fire at True Coffee Roasters in Fitchburg on Tuesday morning.
An employee called 911 around 10 a.m. saying one of the roasters on the main production line caught on fire, according to a release by the Fitchburg Fire Department.
Crews had the fire out within 10 minutes of being dispatched, the release said.
The fire caused a large amount of smoke. Firefighters said ventilation took about an hour due to the building’s size and layout. All damage was contained to the roasting container where it started, the release said.
No injuries were reported.
Employees were able to return to work after crews wrapped up at the scene, the release said.
The True Coffee Roasters building is located along the 5300 block of King James Way in Fitchburg.
