MADISON, Wis. — Gov. Tony Evers announced Friday that Wisconsin’s Electoral College members will meet on Monday to cast their votes for President and Vice President. The electors are scheduled to meet at the Wisconsin State Capitol at noon.
During the meeting, the electors will officially assign Wisconsin’s 10 electoral college votes to President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris.
Evers certified Biden’s win in Wisconsin on Nov. 30. Biden won the state by roughly 20,600 votes.
According to a news release, attendance will be limited to the electors and administrative staff due to the coronavirus pandemic. Face coverings will be required.
The meeting will be streamed live on WisconsinEye.
