MADISON, Wis. — Madison police are investigating a hit-and-run incident during which a vehicle struck a 12-year-old girl on Raymond Rd. at McKenna Blvd. around 7 p.m. on Sunday.
According to the incident report, the girl suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Surveillance video shows that she likely attempted to cross Raymond Rd. and was struck by a gray Jeep Wrangler that appears to have blown through a red light while heading south on McKenna Blvd.
The girl was taken by ambulance to a hospital. Anyone with information identifying the driver and location of the vehicle is asked to contact Madison Area Crime Stoppers at (608) 266-6014 or by computer at p3tips.com.
