VERONA, Wis. — A 45-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries after a crash on Highway 18 on Tuesday night.
According to a news release, police responded to a single-car crash around 6:20 p.m. at Highway 18 and County Trunk Highway PB in Verona.
The release said the driver, who is from Barneveld, was in a dark-colored, full-size SUV. He was taken to a hospital.
Before the crash, police said the SUV had been traveling westbound on Highway 18, across the median and in the eastbound lanes, before heading back on the media and going airborne.
