MADISON, Wis. — Multiple law enforcement agencies were dispatched to a home on Madison’s west side early Friday morning.
The home is located near the intersection of Pilgrim and Canterbury roads. It’s unclear what exactly prompted the police response as of 10:15 a.m. Friday.
News 3 Now has called multiple agencies to learn more information.
Joel DeSpain, a spokesperson for the Madison Police Department, said he is unable to comment on search warrants being served in the moment.
Search warrants served in Madison do not always involve a Madison Police Department case, DeSpain said. The law enforcement agency that has jurisdiction over the case would be the department to release more information.

A photojournalist for News 3 Now said officers with the Sun Prairie Police Department were at the scene.
An employee with the SPPD said that there was an “active investigation going on,” but was unable to provide any other information.
News 3 Now will update this article once more information is released.
