Three people were taken to the hospital following a multi-vehicle crash in Iowa County on Thursday. According to a release, dispatchers got a report of a crash on Highway 14 near County Road C in the town of Arena. The report said there were more than four vehicles involved with road blockage and a possible entrapment. An initial investigation revealed the driver of a pickup truck had crossed the center line on the highway and sideswiped a car. Officials said the truck collided head-on with another truck that was headed in the opposite direction. Debris from the crash also damaged an SUV. The drivers of the two trucks had to be extricated by first responders. They, along with the driver of the sideswiped car, were taken to the hospital for their injuries. The driver of the SUV that was hit by debris did not suffer any injuries. Officials in Iowa County are continuing their investigation into the crash.
