JANESVILLE, Wis. — Janesville police have asked for the public’s help with finding two teen boys in connection with an armed robbery Monday.
Officers were sent to the 1000 block of Bouchard Avenue shortly after 5 p.m. for a report of “armed subjects,” according to a news release.
Homeowners told police the teens forced their way into the residence and threatened them with a handgun and baseball bat. The release said they stole several personal belongings and damaged a TV and Christmas tree before running out of the home.
Officials have identified the two accused of the robbery as 18-year-old Skylar Ploof and 17-year-old Keegan McAdory.
Ploof is 6 feet, 2 inches tall, weighs 140 pounds and has sandy brown hair and brown eyes. He has several pending court cases, including receiving and concealing stolen property, nine counts of bail jumping, possession of drug paraphernalia and theft.
McAdory is 5 feet, 9 inches tall, weighs 160 pounds and has brown hair and hazel eyes.
