One person was displaced after a house fire Wednesday in Dubuque. The Dubuque Fire Department says a toaster was the cause of the fire. Smoke was coming out the front door when firefighters arrived just after 2pm and had the fire under control within five minutes. Fire crews remained on scene for two hours. No injuries were reported. The displaced resident is being assisted by the local American Red Cross. A report says the property is owned by Agnes and Anne Mullen of Dubuque.
