MADISON, Wis. — The Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the victims of a head-on crash on Highway 69 at County Highway PB.
Officials said 43-year-old Priscilla Langbehn and 51-year-old Connie Derendinger died from injuries they suffered in the crash last week. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
According to a news release, Langbehn was driving an SUV when she clipped the rear driver-side tail light of a pickup truck while driving on Highway 69. As she veered to avoid the collision, Langbehn began driving in the wrong lane of traffic and subsequently crashed head-on with a crossover SUV driven by Derendinger.
The Dane County Sheriff’s Office and the Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office are still investigating the crash.
