KENOSHA, Wis. — The family of Jacob Blake says it will hold a press conference Tuesday afternoon responding to an expected announcement from the Kenosha County district attorney regarding a decision on whether to press charges against the officer who shot him.
The family will be joined by attorney Benjamin Crump and Kenosha community leaders at 4 p.m.
On Monday night, the Blake family again called for justice, saying they want to see Officer Rusten Sheskey to be fired, charged and convicted. Sheskey is the officer seen on video shooting Blake in the back seven times on August 23rd. Officers say they believed Blake was reaching for a knife when he was shot.
