“Officer Zimborski, You may not remember me, but I remember you,” the letter begins. “It was about two years ago that you pulled me over in a 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan on January 2nd, 2019. You then arrested me for driving under the influence after I blew a .14 BAC. This is not a letter of complaint, rather it is a thank you note.”
The writer goes on to thank the officer involved for their kind actions.
“Those encouraging words meant a lot to me. Since that night, my life has come full circle. I give you full permission to take a peak into my record to see that my first OWI was the last in my long list of offenses. That night was a wake up call for me,” the letter reads.
