The Public Service Commission of Wisconsin has green-lighted a raise in water rates in the Village of Benton. According to a PSC announcement, the Benton Municipal Electric and Water Utility will increase rates by 3% effective March 16 to reduce existing deficiencies in present rates. The monthly fee will climb to $30.61 for the average residential customer and increase to $105.90 for an average commercial property owner.
