Update in Blue Mounds Death

The Dane County Sheriff’s Office is looking to identify a truck owner in connection with their investigation of a homicide in Blue Mounds. A news release says investigators are looking for the owner of a dark-colored pick-up truck – seen on camera traveling west on Main Street in Mt. Horeb, approaching a turn onto Orchard Street, at about 12:35pm. Detectives would like to speak with the owner or driver of the truck. The release says if you are or know the owner to contact the sheriff’s office tip line at 608 – 284 – 6900. Investigators don’t consider the driver or owner a suspect, but believe they could provide information into the homicide of Nicholas Day in Blue Mounds on Wednesday, January 15^th.
