CASHTON, Wis. — A Silver Alert has been issued for a Monroe County man who went missing Monday afternoon.
The Wisconsin Crime Alert Network said 61-year-old Richard Carroll left his Rockland home at about 11 a.m. and went to the Rockland Stop and Go before arriving at the Bank of Cashton on 723 Main Street.
Officials said he left the bank at around 2 p.m. and told tellers he was heading home, though he was supposed to be at work at 2:30 p.m. He wasn’t found at either location.
Carroll is 5 feet, 7 inches tall, has brown eyes with brown hair and is balding. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a gray zip-up hooded sweatshirt, knit brown hat with a white stripe, glasses, gold ring on his right ring finger and white and blue tennis shoes.
He drives a blue Chevrolet Silverado 1500 extended cab with the Wisconsin license plate NK4742. The truck also has a black metal tonneau cover for the bed of the truck, along with running boards on the sides.
