VIENNA, Wis. — A house in Dane County is considered a total loss after a fire caused roughly $200,000 in damage Wednesday morning.
Authorities responded to a house fire at 5707 Oak Lane in the town of Vienna at around 10:30 a.m. According to a news release, the house was home to nine employees at a nearby farm.
The Dane County Sheriff’s Office said no one was hurt, and alternative housing has been arranged for those who were displaced.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the fire.
The sheriff’s office was at the scene with the Maple Bluff, DeForest, Dane, Arlington, Sun Prairie and Madison fire departments. Town of Madison police also responded to help with additional translators.
