The Lancaster Common Council is holding a special meeting tonight in regards to a few items connected with a new hotel project. According to the meeting’s agenda, the council will consider applying for a state economic development corporation grant for the hotel. Other items being reviewed include assigning a Tax Increment Financing agreement between the city and the developer, as well as an engineering contract for sanitary sewer to serve the new hotel development. The Lancaster Common Council will also discuss various golf course pro shop and restaurant operation options at its meeting tonight at 6:30 in city hall.
