MADISON, Wis. — The Dane County Humane Society welcomed 23 new dogs to Madison Thursday following an arduous trip.
The dogs came from the humane society’s partner in Alabama at the Greater Birmingham Humane Society.
They were set to arrive Thursday morning at around 8 a.m., but due to severe storms in the south, the transfer left earlier than expected and arrived closer to midnight.
All the dogs received full physical exams. To check out some of the new arrivals and schedule an adoption appointment, click here.
