JANESVILLE, Wis. — A Silver Alert has been issued for a Janesville woman who went missing Friday.
The Wisconsin Crime Alert Network said Karen Nordin, 76, was last seen at the Madison VA Hospital shortly before 3 p.m. Her vehicle was seen leaving the parking ramp.
Nordin is 5 feet tall, has blue eyes and long gray to white hair. She was last seen wearing dark-colored slacks, a red blouse and dark colored glasses frames with transitional tri focal lenses. She also has a black Columbia jacket but may not be wearing it.
She drives a black 2015 Nissan Sentra with Wisconsin license plates AKS-1569. Officials said the car has black duct tape on the rear driver’s side bumper and does not have a front license plate.
Authorities said Nordin has a history of being easily confused and wandering away from family and may be frightened if approached.
