JANESVILLE, Wis. — Police arrested a man early Sunday morning for fourth-offense OWI after pulling him over for driving without his headlights on.
Authorities said 29-year-old Jarrod R. Harris was driving on N. Ringold Street at Matheson Street around 3 a.m. when officers stopped him. During the traffic stop, Harris reportedly showed signs of impairment.
Harris failed standardized field sobriety testing and was subsequently arrested for fourth-offense OWI. Officials said Harris was under a .02 blood alcohol driving restriction.
Officials said Harris was on signature bond through Dane County Circuit Court for a pending fourth-offense OWI. His bond conditions included not consuming or possessing alcohol and not operating a motor vehicle.
A sample of Harris’ blood was taken, and results are pending.
He is facing a charges of fourth-offense OWI, felony bail jumping and operating after revocation.
