MADISON, Wis. — Madison police say a stolen car was involved in a pedestrian hit-and-run incident downtown Sunday night.
Police say a 71-year-old man was crossing Williamson Street at South Ingersoll Street just after 10 p.m. Sunday when he was hit on the side of his body by a white Hyundai Accent. The man denied medical attention at the scene and did not have any visible injuries, but did say the car never stopped and drove off.
The man gave officers a license plate number and police were able to determine the car was stolen.
