MADISON, Wis. — A Madison cab driver was nearly robbed after the end of a ride late Sunday night, officials said.
According to Madison police spokesperson Tyler Grigg. the incident happened on the 6600 block of Raymond Road just before 11:30 p.m.
Officials said the cab driver was threatened with a knife after the passenger demanded money. The driver got out of his car, and police said the suspect also got out and ran away from the area. No one was hurt.
Police canvassed the area, and an investigation is ongoing. No other information is available at this time.
