MADISON, Wis. — Kids can visit the Children’s Zoo at Henry Vilas Zoo again for the first time in more than a year.
The Children’s Zoo section and the Lake Wingra entrance reopened Monday for the first time since the start of the coronavirus pandemic.
Kids we talked to were excited about the news.
In addition to opening the Children’s Zoo, the carousel will now be open seven days a week, and the Henry Vilas Zoo is taking extra sanitizing measures to make sure visitors remain safe.
