MADISON, Wis. — A Dane County man accused of driving recklessly throughout Madison turned himself in to police Wednesday.
An incident report said Michael Jensen, 25, of Burke, was seen driving a dirt bike in the East Washington Avenue area and downtown Madison last month.
Officials said the man showed “significant disregard for traffic laws, motorist safety and has endangered the public on numerous occasions.” The report said police attempted to stop the man multiple times, but he allegedly rode off each time.
Police released photos of Jensen on March 13, and he was identified the following day.
Jensen turned himself in regarding the incident at around 4 p.m. Wednesday.
He was issued a number of traffic citations and brought to the Dane County Jail. Jensen faces two tentative charges of eluding law enforcement.
