MADISON, Wis. — The total vaccine doses administered exceeded 3 million on Saturday, according to the Wisconsin Department of Health Services.
A total of 3,043,564 doses have been administered to date with more than 65,000 in the last day.
Almost 20% of the population, 1,149,956 people, have completed the vaccine series.
Health officials confirmed 706 new cases Saturday, a drop from Friday’s case count of 875. The seven-day average of new cases per day has also continued on an increase with Saturday’s average at 3.2%

The state has reached a lifetime total of 579,293 confirmed cases, and nearly 7,200 of cases are active.
At least 6,640 have dies of coronavirus complications, with seven new deaths confirmed Saturday. Another 54 people were hospitalized in the past day.
