GREEN BAY, Wis. — Aaron Rodgers’ first week guest-hosting Jeopardy! has led to more than $117,000 going to small businesses in the Packers quarterback’s hometown.
The show is matching the winnings of all contestants during Rodgers’ two-week run on the show to Rodgers’ small business COVID-19 relief fund through the North Valley Community Foundation in Chico, California.
Through the first week of the show, that’s translated to a total of $117,725 going to the fund, according to the Green Bay Packers. Rodgers previously donated $1 million of his own money to the fund, which went to 80 businesses in the form of grants. A second round of grants will be given to businesses in Butte County, California through the show’s donation.
Rodgers’ second week on the show starts Monday evening.
