MADISON, Wis. — One person was injured following numerous shots fired reports in Madison on Tuesday afternoon.
Officials said callers reported hearing gunshots on the 1200 block of Gilbert Road at about 2:45 p.m. According to an incident report, a victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
No other details are available at this time. The department’s Violent Crime Unit is leading the investigation, which is active and ongoing.
