MADISON, Wis. — Madison police have arrested a man they say threatened a store employee with a knife on Wednesday.
Officers were called to the city’s east side just before 10 a.m. after a store employee said 50-year-old Jeffrey Hejdak threatened them with a knife while trying to hide merchandise.
Officers found Hejdak outside the Pick ‘n Save store nearby on Shopko Drive and arrested him.
He faces possible charges of armed robbery, disorderly conduct carrying a concealed knife and retail theft.
