WAUWATOSA, Wis. — Law enforcement officials have issued a Silver Alert for a missing woman last seen leaving a Milwaukee-area hotel Friday morning.
According to the alert, 77-year-old Elaine Lucille Moertl was staying at a hotel while visiting a family member. She was supposed to relocate to Tucson, Arizona on Friday.
Officials said Moertl checked out of the hotel and drove away, leaving behind her brother-in-law who was going to drive her to Arizona. She was last seen leaving Springhill Suites at 10411 Watertown Plank Road in Wauwatosa around 8 a.m.
Moertl is described as a white woman with hazel eyes and grey/white un-styled hair. She is 5 feet, 3 inches tall and weighs 135 pounds. Authorities said Moertl walks with a limp in her left leg. She was last seen wearing a blue puffy coat, black pants and dark colored boots.
Officials said Moertl left the hotel in a teal 2006 Toyota Camry or Solara with Wisconsin license plate number 240GJZ.
