MADISON, Wis. — The positivity rate for new COVID-19 tests has remained below 4% Friday, according to the state Department of Health Services.
The seven-day average percent positive by test saw a minor decrease to 3.6%. The average had previously stayed at 3.8% for an entire week.

DHS officials said they experienced a “technical issue” Friday with updating the most recent vaccine data on its website. Health officials said the vaccination data would be posted Saturday.
Wisconsin reported 709 new cases of the virus, a drop of more than 200 compared to Thursday’s case count. The seven-day rolling average also fell to 754.
The state has reached an all-time total of 589,213 confirmed cases, and roughly 9,200 cases remain active.
Five more people have died of coronavirus complications, bringing the statewide death toll to 6,703. DHS officials said 69 more people have been hospitalized within the past day.
