BELOIT, Wis. — The City of Beloit’s new police chief was sworn into office Monday.
The police department shared the update on its Facebook page.
Andre Sayles, who was previously a police captain with the department, was unanimously chosen last week to be the City’s next chief.
Sayles’ badge was pinned by his wife after being sworn in.
A formal ceremony will be held at a later date.
Introducing for the first time today Chief Andre Sayles.
Chief Sayles was sworn into office and had his badge pinned by his wife today.
We will be holding a formal ceremony in the future.
