FITCHBURG, Wis. — Police arrested a man Tuesday in connection with a shots fired incident in Fitchburg from earlier in the month.
Police responded to the 3300 block of Leopold Way on April 11, where officials found shell casings at the scene. A witness had also reported seeing a man shooting at two people who were running away from the area. No one was hurt.
A news release Friday said authorities developed probable cause to arrest Trevion Williams, 20, of Fitchburg, for his alleged involvement in the incident.
Fitchburg Police Lt. Edward Hartwick said officials later executed a search warrant at Williams’ apartment and found other evidence connecting him to the incident, including a handgun. He was taken to the Dane County Jail and had an initial court appearance Thursday on the charge of second-degree recklessly endangering safety.
Fitchburg police are still investigating the events leading up to the shots fired incident.
Officials believe the woman pictured below may have further information. The release said the woman is not considered a suspect, though investigators would like to speak with her.

The release said the Fitchburg and Madison police departments are continuing to investigate the possible relationship between the incident in Fitchburg and a shots fired incident on the 2900 block of Traceway Drive where a bullet entered a home.
Those with information on the incident or the identity of the woman are encouraged to call Fitchburg police at 608-270-4300.
