MADISON, Wis. — People will have a chance to purchase local produce and other items made in southern Wisconsin when the Farmers Market returns to Hilldale on Saturday.
The market will run every Wednesday and Saturday from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. through Oct. 30.
Masks are encouraged and handwashing stations will be available for customers.

This year the market will feature items from Blend Products, small batch ice cream from Ice Cream Social, seasonings and sauces from Tailgate Foodie and fresh dog food from Yellow Dog Deli, gourmet popcorn from Kotupha Popcorn and West African cuisine from Keur Fatou Catering.
They join between 30-40 other vendors offering Wisconsin cheese, locally grown produce, meat and bakery items.
“We’re excited to be offering some really unique things you might not be able to find at other local markets. Plus, here there’s no need to fight for a parking spot or walk a mile to get to the heart of the action,” said Nanci Horn, general manager of Hilldale.
“You can spend an hour here, or a whole morning. It’s all very easy to navigate. And dogs are welcome!”
Hilldale has a reputation for being pet-friendly. Currently 33 stores and restaurants at the mall welcome dogs.
