STOUGHTON, Wis. — Authorities have responded to a gas leak in Stoughton on Thursday evening.
Dane County dispatch said it received a call at 7:37 p.m. regarding an incident on the 1800 block of Sunrise Court. Officials said someone had been digging outside when they struck a gas line.
West Milwaukee Street and Pleasant View Drive have been closed as a result, along with Hilldale Lane at Pleasant View Drive.
Alliant Energy is at the scene to assist the Stoughton Fire Department.
