PARDEEVILLE, Wis. Two people are dead following a crash involving a semi truck in Columbia County.
According to a release from the Wisconsin State Patrol, it happened on Wisconsin Highway 33 near Polinske Road near Pardeeville.
Just after 7 p.m. emergency crews responded to a report of a crash on the highway involving a semi truck and a 2009 Pontiac G6.
The driver and passenger inside the Pontiac were killed in the crash.
A preliminary investigation from the Wisconsin State Patrol determined one of the vehicles was traveling in the wrong direction and hit the other one head-on.
Investigators have not determined which vehicle was in the wrong lane.
