MADISON, Wis. — More than 4.7 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered throughout Wisconsin, according to the state Department of Health Services.
Health officials said 2,586,346 people have received at least one dose of vaccine, which is 44.4% of the state. As of Monday, 2,179,950 residents have fully completed the vaccine series, or 37.4% of Wisconsin.
A total of 4,707,331 doses have been administered since December.
No new COVID-related deaths were reported for the second day in a row. The statewide death toll is at 6,904 as of Monday afternoon. DHS officials said 23 more people have also been hospitalized within the past day.
The seven-day average percent positive by test has gone down slightly to 3.1%.
Wisconsin reported 205 new cases of the virus, which is below Sunday’s case count and the seven-day rolling average of 532. The state has reached an all-time total of 603,303 confirmed cases, and 7,831 of those cases remain active.
