REEDSBURG, Wis. — A Reedsburg man was taken into custody after a head-on crash Monday night.
Authorities were sent to the 1700 block of 8th Street shortly before 7:30 p.m. for a report of a traffic accident.
Officials said Kirk Knight, 41, was headed westbound on 8th Street when his vehicle crossed over into oncoming traffic and hit another car. The driver and a passenger of the vehicle that was struck suffered minor injuries. Both vehicles had their airbags deployed and were towed from the scene.
Knight was arrested for operating while under the influence causing injury, obstructing an officer, misdemeanor bail jumping and felony bail jumping. The man was also cited for operating left of center. Officials said Knight was arrested on a probation hold and brought to the Sauk County Jail.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
