MADISON, Wis. — Madison police have asked for the public’s help with identifying the man who allegedly approached a girl at a park and said he wanted to give her a massage.
Officials said the incident happened at Yahara Place Park on May 6 at around 7:30 p.m. The child went home and told an adult about the incident, but the suspect already left by the time police arrived at the park.
An updated incident report from Tuesday said the suspect is a white man in his early 20s who is roughly 5 feet, 8 inches to 5 feet, 10 inches tall. He has a “slight belly,” dark brown or black hair that falls below his ears and may have been clean shaven.
The man was last seen wearing white-rimmed sunglasses with multicolor lenses, a baseball cap, a gray face covering, blue jeans and orange and blue tennis shoes.

The person may be named Jason and was possibly a visitor to the area. Officials said he could have been in town for a cousin’s graduation from the University of Wisconsin-Madison or a friend’s wedding.
