MADISON, Wis. — Madison police are investigating after two homes were hit by gunfire Friday night.
Several callers reported hearing gunshots in the area of Beld Street near the Alliant Energy Center at around 8 p.m.
An incident report said officers arrived and found multiple shell casings in the street. Police also discovered two homes were struck with bullets. One residence was occupied during the incident, but no injuries were reported.
Officials said suspects have not been located. Police believe the incident stemmed from a “disturbance between multiple parties.”
