MADISON, Wis. — The Dane County Master Gardeners plant sale encouraged people Sunday to continue yard work by featuring perennials and vegetable starters for sale.
Last year, COVID-19 closed many doors to businesses and events which pushed people to a new outdoor hobby: gardening.
Being called the year of “The Yard,” organizers hope these gardeners continue the good work and expand their landscaping.
The Dane County Master Gardeners plant sale had 1,200 sun or shade perennials for sale, along with a limited supply of vegetables and herbs.
Due to COVID, the event was open to only adults. Additionally, masks and social distancing were required.
