MADISON, Wis. — The Rainbow Pride flag will be flown at the Wisconsin State Capitol in celebration of Pride Month for the third year in a row.
Gov. Tony Evers announced Thursday the flag will be raised during an event scheduled for June 1, the first day of Pride Month.
In 2019, the Rainbow Pride flag was flown over the Capitol building for the first time in state history.
The flag raising event is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. at the east entrance of the Wisconsin State Capitol. The flying of the flag will not disrupt the flying of any other flags on the Capitol building.
