MADISON, Wis. — Two men wanted for allegedly attacking a Madison Metro Transit bus driver in late May have turned themselves in.
Madison police did not release the identities or ages of the men, but said they will face tentative charges of battery to a transit vehicle operator.
Officers responded to reports of a disturbance on a city bus May 28. The driver told police they were attacked by two men after denying them bus service for not complying with mask requirements.
Madison police released photos of the men last week. Officers believed they were also involved in another incident involving a Metro Transit driver.
