MADISON, Wis. — A local boy is getting a chance to just be a kid on his half-birthday after spending several years fighting cancer.
Silas Klaus has been battling acute lymphoblastic leukemia for five years now, and all he wants to do is play.
Luckily, with the help of Chuck E. Cheese, he was able to make that wish come true.
Photojournalist Brian Mesmer was there as Silas’ birthday wish came true.
