MADISON, Wis. — A man charged with murdering his sister on Christmas Eve 2019 has been found competent to stand trial.
Joseph Green was found competent during a Wednesday morning competency hearing in Dane County court. Green was previously found incompetent during a 2020 hearing.
A trial date has not yet been set.
Prosecutors allege Green shot and killed his sister, 63-year-old Sheila Green, on Christmas Eve 2019. He’s charged with first-degree intentional homicide in her death.
