JANESVILLE, Wis. — Police in Janesville are looking for a man they say robbed a motel clerk at gunpoint early Thursday morning.
Officers were called to the Super 8 Motel at 3430 Milton Avenue at about 1:17 a.m. after a clerk reported being robbed, with an undisclosed amount of money being stolen.
Police released surveillance images of the suspect, who wearing a black neck gaitor mask, grey gloves, black pants and black shoes, as well as a black Chicago Bulls sweatshirt that says “CHICAGO/6 Rings” on the front. The man was described as white and standing between 5’10” and 6 feet tall while weighing between 150 and 200 pounds. He was also carrying a black semi-automatic handgun.
Police say the man got away on a BMX-style bike.
