The DeForest Police Department took time Thursday night to honor a young girl.
Mackenzie Clyde served as an honorary member of the DeForest Police Department in 2019. She had cancer and died earlier this year at age 10.
Her family said that while Mackenzie lived a short life, it gives them a sense of comfort knowing she had such a strong impact on so many people.
