MADISON, Wis. — One person was sent to the hospital after needing to be cut out of a Uhaul truck following a crash Monday.
The Madison Fire Department says the crash happened at about 11:36 a.m. Monday on Wheeler Road, near the south end of Cherokee Marsh. They say the driver was the only person inside the truck, but was pinned after crashing into a tree.
Fire crews had to cut off the driver’s side door and life the dashboard to get the driver out of the truck.
The person was taken to the hospital, but their injuries were not considered life-threatening.
