Grant County authorities are asking for any help in finding a vehicle that was involved in a hit-and-run early Saturday. The sheriff’s office says the vehicle was driving north on County Highway F during the early morning hours. It crossed both lanes of traffic and drove into the ditch, striking a pair of mailboxes near the Stitzer fire station. According to a release from the Grant County Sheriff’s Department, the vehicle then left the scene and continued on County F. Those with information on the incident are asked to call the sheriff’s department at 608 – 723 – 2157.
