HORICON, Wis. — A portion of Highway 33 in Dodge County has been closed due to a serious crash Wednesday afternoon.
The state Department of Transportation said the incident happened at around 1 p.m. As a result, WIS 33 has been blocked in both directions between Highway 26 and North Grove Road near Horicon.
The lanes remained closed as of 4:40 p.m. As an alternate route, drivers heading eastbound can exit on Clinton Street and head north, proceed west on Lake Street and County E, then south on Highway 26 until returning to WIS 33. Drivers heading westbound will reverse the directions.
The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office has responded to the scene.
