MADISON, Wis. — Nearly 3 million people in Wisconsin have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, according to the state Department of Health Services.
Health officials said 2,889,247 people have gotten at least one shot, or 49.6% of the state’s eligible population. The DHS said 2,639,398 residents have completed the vaccine series, or 45.3% of Wisconsin.
A total of 5,457,746 doses have been administered throughout the state since December.

The seven-day average of new cases per day has remained on a downward trend, with Monday’s average falling to 74. The state has reached an all-time total of 612,155 confirmed cases.
Wisconsin’s seven-day positivity rate has not topped 1% for five days in a row, with the latest average sitting at 0.8%.
At least 7,250 COVID deaths have been confirmed in Wisconsin since the start of the pandemic. As of Monday, the DHS website did not include data for the most recent seven-day death average.
