
MADISON, Wis. — Madison police have asked for the public’s help to identify a witness in connection with a shots fired incident from earlier in the month.
Police responded to several shots fired reports June 7 near Milwaukee and Oak streets. Officers arrived to the scene and found shell casings as well as a vehicle that was hit by gunfire. Officials said no injuries were reported.
An updated incident report from Wednesday said the man in the photo is believed to be a witness and “potential accessory.”
The investigation into the incident is ongoing. Anyone who recognizes the man is encouraged to call Madison Area Crime Stoppers at 608-266-6014.
